GRAND RAPIDS, MI – X-Rite Inc. has nearly doubled the locations this spring where it will be offering its Fundamentals of Color and Appearance (FOCA) one-day seminar. The seminar instructs quality control and assurance professionals, lab technicians, parts suppliers, pre-media and digital pressroom personnel, and manufacturing specifiers on how to evaluate and approve colors in their workflows.

Taught by X-Rite color experts, the seminar was created to provide practical information applicable to all industries dealing with color in easy-to-understand terms. X-Rite color experts first give attendees a solid foundation in the basics of color and appearance, and then provide instruction on how to measure, view and understand color data.

The course requires no prior color training and will address color control for a variety of industries, including retail and apparel brands, business and consumer electronics, automotive, graphics arts, packaging, and related industries in plastics, coatings and textile manufacturing.
