How to Get Your Editorial Information Published in PCI

PRESS RELEASES

Each month, PCI publishes news in a variety of categories in both print and in our weekly e-Newsletter. Companies can submit press releases free of charge. They are usually published on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage you to send photos with your release, but cannot guarantee that they will be published. We accept press releases for the following departments:

INDUSTRY NEWS
Information regarding industry associations, conferences, trade shows, legal issues and industry regulations.

CALENDAR
Dates, locations and contact information for upcoming conferences, trade shows, short courses, and other industry and educational programs. Or you can fill out our online event submission form.

COMPANY NEWS
The latest information on acquisitions, corporate joint ventures, expansions, awards, financial reports and relocations.

NAMES IN THE NEWS
New hires, promotions and resignations.

PRODUCTS
Includes information on raw materials and equipment used in the formulation and manufacture of coatings. Your company contact information is included.

FEATURE ARTICLES

Submitted articles are reviewed, and, if approved, are either assigned to an issue with an emphasis on that topic or assigned to the next available issue. PCI reserves the right to edit any material submitted, and will send a final PDF file of the article back to the author for review.

LENGTH
Our articles vary in length, depending on the topic and information provided. Most articles range from 1,000 to 2,500 words.

FORMAT
E-mail preferred. Document should be saved in Microsoft Word and e-mailed to Kristin Johansson at kristin@pcimag.com.

GRAPHICS
The images embedded within Word documents are frequently not suitable for print. If photos, graphs, charts or figures are embedded within the Word document, please also provide them as separate PowerPoint, JPEG, TIFF or EPS files, saved at 300 dpi.

DEADLINES
Articles are due the first of the month two months prior to the issue, with all text and illustrations as described above (i.e., an article scheduled to run in the April issue would be due February 1). Exceptions to these deadlines will be made at the discretion of the editor. Our articles are posted monthly at www.pcimag.com, and are stored in our online article archive on the website. Reprints or the PDF file may be purchased by contacting Jill DeVries at devriesj@bnpmedia.com.
