Pittsburgh - The Pittsburgh Conference announced the continuation of its partnership with the ACS Division of Analytical Chemistry (ACS-DAC) at Pittcon 2008. Based on the success of last year’s venture, the ACS-DAC is expanding its co-programming in the Pittcon Technical Program by offering eight Invited Symposia, six Organized Contributed Sessions and one Poster Session at Pittcon 2008.

The ACS symposium, The Environmental Impact of Hurricane Katrina on New Orleans and the Surrounding Area, will be of special interest to members of the scientific community. Dr. Leroy Hood will deliver this year’s Plenary Lecture as a participant of the symposium titled, Interdisciplinary Analytical Chemistry.
