AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands – AkzoNobel has completed its acquisition of the Dow Chemical Co.’s powder coatings activities. The deal complements the paint producer’s position in key strategic markets especially the U.S., automotive and trade coaters markets. It also introduces MDF and thermoplastic capabilities to the company’s existing expertise. The powder coatings business operates factories in the United States, Europe and China.
