HATTIESBURG, MS - The University of Southern Mississippi's School of Polymers and High-Performance Materials issued a call for papers for the 31st International Waterborne, High-Solids and Powder Coatings Symposium, scheduled for Feb. 18-20, 2004, in New Orleans.

The symposium organizers are inviting the submission of abstracts of papers on new and emerging technologies related to polymer chemistry, polymer physics, formulation, or performance properties of waterborne, high-solids, powder, radiation-cure, and "smart" coating systems.

The university also announced a change in the symposium location, to the New Orleans Marriott hotel on Canal Street south of the French Quarter.
