Wacker-Chemie GmbH, Munich, and Wacker Polymer Systems GmbH & Co. KG, Burghausen, Germany, announced the opening of a new technical center in Shanghai, China, to support the expansion of Wacker’s activities in Asia. The companies are suppliers of silicone products and spray-dried polymers for construction applications, and operate in China through the business units Wacker Silicones Technology (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. and Wacker Polymer Materials (Shanghai) Co. Ltd.
