International’s New Gulf Coast Distribution Center
HOUSTON - International Paint LLC, a division of Akzo Nobel, has opened a Gulf Coast Distribution Center (GDC) to serve its regional customers exclusively.
According to Dave Baker, North American supply manager, the company's decision to build the new facility was strategic. "We supply protective coating products to customers all over the United States, Canada and Mexico. Yet, our largest growing segment of business is concentrated right here in our own backyard."
The 22,500-square-foot facility, located in Deer Park, Texas, provides a full range of protective and specialty coatings to the growing industrial and heavy-duty marine businesses in the Gulf Coast area.
