MILWAUKEE – Gaco Western announced that Dan Nelson will lead the company’s research and development arm as the new Vice President of R&D at its manufacturing facility in Waukesha, WI. Gaco Western manufactures elastomeric coatings and polyurethane spray foam for the construction and waterproofing industries.

Nelson brings more than 25 years of experience to his new position. He has a lengthy background in polymer science both in coatings applications and formulations, as well as resin synthesis.
