WASHINGTON - The NPCA reports that the Northeast Ozone Transport Commission (OTC) announced a new initiative targeting, among others, reducing volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions from paint and coatings in the OTC region. This region consists of New England states and Northeastern states, and jurisdictions extending to Northern Virginia. The initiative is broad ranging and includes a wide variety of other VOC-emission sources, as well as other pollutants, such as nitrous oxides.
