PITTSBURGH – PPG Industries announced that Victor West, Architectural Manager, PPG Pittsburgh Paints, has earned the LEED-Green Associate accreditation from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), the credentialing affiliate of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

James J. Bogdan, PPG Manager, Green Building Initiatives, Construction Market team, said West's accreditation will strengthen his ability to help design professionals utilize PPG products when pursuing Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) or other green-building certifications for their projects.

In his current position, West serves design professionals throughout Michigan, northwestern Ohio and southeastern Wisconsin. In addition to providing paint expertise, he also helps customers specify environmentally progressive PPG architectural glass and coatings.
