DURHAM, NC - Reichhold has announced list and off-list price increases for all coatings and graphic arts products sold in North America. Effective Feb. 1, 2011, the price for 100 percent solids alkyds and polyesters will increase $0.09 per pound. Solvent-based alkyds and polyesters will increase $0.07 per pound. Modified alkyds will increase $0.04 per pound, and waterborne and water-reducible alkyds and polyesters will increase $0.04 per pound. Solvent-borne urethane products will increase $0.05 per pound, and waterborne urethane products will increase $0.04 per pound. Epoxy resins will increase $0.12 per pound, modified epoxy resins will increase $0.07 per pound, and epoxy curatives will increase $0.04 per pound. Acrylic and styrene acrylic latex will increase $0.05 per pound, vinyl latex will increase $0.02 per pound, and solvent-borne and 100 percent solids acrylics will increase $0.10 per pound.

The price increases are effective for orders shipped on or after Feb. 1, 2011, or as contracts allow, and apply to all coating and graphic arts resins sold within or exported from North America. Reichhold sales representatives will be contacting their accounts with specific details on the increase.
