SANTA BARBARA, Ca -- World Minerals Inc., a member of Imerys, will raise prices for products shipped within North America effective January 1, 2010. The increase will be 3-8 percent, subject to any provisions in individual contracts. The price increases will affect all diatomite, perlite and silicate products. The energy surcharge will also remain in effect.
