BRUSSELS, Belgium - IMERYS European Performance Minerals will increase calcium carbonate, hydrous kaolin and calcined kaolin prices effective Dec. 1, 2008, or as contracts allow.

 

Calcium carbonate, hydrous kaolin and calcined kaolin manufactured by European Performance Minerals for the coatings, rubber, building material, sealant, chemical, film and plastic sectors will increase as follows: calcium carbonate will increase 8.0 percent to 10.0 percent depending on manufactured grade; hydrous kaolin will increase 10.0 percent; and calcined kaolin will increase 15.0 percent.
