Beckers Group announced it has been recognized by the Financial Times as one of Europe’s Climate Leaders 2025. The annual ranking, compiled in partnership with Statista, highlights companies making significant progress in reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Beckers improved its score from 60.9 to 68.4 over the past year.

The ranking evaluates Scope 1 and 2 emissions reductions from 2018 to 2023. Only 600 of 2,000 evaluated companies made the list. Beckers was recognized for initiatives such as adopting renewable energy, reducing reliance on natural gas, and developing more sustainable raw materials and product solutions, including UV/EB coatings that lower energy consumption during curing by more than 70%.

“This achievement reflects the dedication of our employees, partners, and customers as we work together to accelerate climate action,” said Christophe Sabas, CEO of Beckers Group.

Beckers also tracks the impact of its coatings through the Beckers Sustainability Index (BSI) and has maintained an EcoVadis Gold rating since 2017.
