BASF Restructures European Leadership Roles
BASF announced personnel changes effective July 1, 2025. Dr. Christoph Wegner, currently president of global digital services, will assume responsibility for the division group research, based in Ludwigshafen. He succeeds Dr. Helmut Winterling, who will become president of European site and Verbund management, as previously announced, succeeding Dr. Uwe Liebelt.
In turn, Dietrich Spandau, senior vice president, corporate human resources, will succeed Wegner as president of global digital services.
