PITTSBURGH – Bayer MaterialScience LLC is one of the first raw materials suppliers to get on board the Master Painters Institute® Inc.’s (MPI) Starting Point Program.
Results of the MPI testing are as follows: the guide formula based on Bayhydrol® UH 2593/1 polyurethane dispersion passed MPI 128, the guide formula based on Bayhydrol AH XP 2741 acrylic dispersion passed MPI 129, and the guide formula based on Bayhydrol UH 2557 polyurethane dispersion passed MPI 197.
The Starting Point Program helps coating raw materials suppliers accelerate acceptance of resin or additive technologies by providing verification that formulations meet MPI’s highest performance standards.
