READING, PA – Wacker Chemie AG has recognized several Brenntag Americas companies for their achievements as distribution partners.

Each year, Wacker Chemie AG presents Distributor of the Year awards to recognize outstanding results and achievements by its distributor partners. Awards are presented on a global basis with four performance achievement categories: platinum, gold, silver and bronze. The performance criteria for the 2009 awards were based on a combination of sales-performance metrics and effective interaction with Wacker’s business teams.

The Brenntag Americas companies receiving awards are: Brenntag Specialties, Brenntag Great Lakes, with a platinum award; Brenntag Southeast with a gold award; and Brenntag Canada, Brenntag Columbia, Brenntag Guatemala, Brenntag Mexico, Brenntag Mid-South and Brenntag Northeast with the silver award. For consolidated results, Brenntag North America received the gold award, and Brenntag Latin America received the silver award.

The awards reflect a successful distribution partnership between Brenntag and Wacker.
