GREENVILLE, SC - Container Management Systems (CMS) and Innovative Container have merged and will now operate together as Varicon. The new company will provide the industrial container industry with an expanded variety of cost-effective and environmentally friendly product solutions.

 

The merger positions Varicon as the leading reconditioner and manufacturer of industrial containers within the United States. Varicon offers both new and reconditioned intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), as well as new and reconditioned all-plastic drums. Additionally, Varicon provides the DuraCycle IBC, a virgin-lined container that has the quality of a new bottle without the new-bottle cost.

 

Serving as CEO of Varicon is Mark Daniels, former President and CEO of CMS. Daniels has been an entrepreneur and leader in the industrial container industry for nearly 25 years. Also joining Varicon is 30-year industry veteran, Don Lumpkin, who will serve as President and will be responsible for the overall management and daily operations of the company.
