PHILADELPHIA – Dow Coating Materials, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Co. dedicated to innovation in the paint and coatings industry, will be showcasing a wide range of new technologies and research initiatives at the Western Coatings Symposium in Las Vegas, taking place October 25-28. The eight presentations by Dow researchers will focus on a variety of innovations made possible following the company’s recent acquisition of coatings powerhouse Rohm & Haas. The Western Coating Symposium will be the first major North American event where Dow showcases the newly formed business.
