At Stand 7A-115, DSM has launched Uralac® P 3170, the first Urlac® EasyCure™ product designed for indoor applications. The innovative and patented Uralac® P 3170 is a 70/30 powder coating polyester/epoxy hybrid resin, offering a unique combination of benefits. Delivering good flow, non-blooming, and with good storage stability, it is breaking ground for the next generation of low-temperature-curing resins for indoor applications.
The resin has been developed especially to solve the persistent challenge of poor appearance due to low-temperature curing. Excellent flow is achieved when curing Uralac® P 3170 at lower temperatures, matching the flow quality of current resins cured at 20 °C higher temperatures.
