Essential Industries, Merton, WI, has just introduced two new high performance acrylic emulsions for the coatings industry. R 5884 is a 55%-solids, very high performance acrylic emulsion that exhibits superior direct-to-metal corrosion resistant properties and stain and tannin-blocking properties. R 5888 is 50% solids, resilient, elastomeric acrylic emulsion with excellent moisture resistance and barrier properties for coatings, caulks, and sealants.
