Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. (MCP) continues to develop all-acrylic polymer emulsions to meet customer demands for many novel and conventional application fields, and is featuring the latest products at Booth 755.

Rovene 6027 is the latest all-acrylic emulsion polymer developed as a low-VOC workhorse product for multiple coating applications requiring all acrylics. The product exhibits good filler capacity with excellent elongation. Due to the elongation and superior formulation stability, the product can carry high levels of filler.

The company continues to develop new styrene-butadiene (SBR) latex for all emulsion polymer markets. Rovene 4541 was designed for specialty coating applications where very high filler loading is desirable. SBRs demonstrate outstanding water resistance and binding strength, with limited requirements for cosolvents. Because of the superior binding capability, low-cost formulations are easily achieved.

Paint and coatings companies continue to seek a different approach to product development that is more customized to their unique requirements. MCP manages directed customer research while growing its product offering and segment participation. This approach helps the company to deliver customized products at market-competitive prices, thereby helping coatings customers to reduce total overall cost.
