CASTELLÓN, Spain - UBE Industries, Tokyo, has built several new plants at its Castellón site in Spain to produce ETERNACOLL® polycarbonate diol (PCD) and 1,5-pentanediol (PDL) to meet increased demand in the European and U.S. markets. The new plants have a capacity of 2,000 ton/year of PCD and 300 ton/year of PDL, and are expected to open by the end of 2005.
