HELSINKI, Finland – Carbodeon Ltd. Oy, a market leader in high-performance additives for the metal plating industry, has appointed industry specialist John Torr as an Advisory Board member.

Torr has more than 45 years of experience in proprietary metal plating solutions, including process chemistry of copper, nickel, chrome, tin, silver and gold. He has a deep understanding of the electroplating industry and has worked over the last 13 years as an independent consultant to global automotive, aerospace and electrolyte producers to help them achieve better performance coatings.

Torr is currently a Fellow and Chairman of IMF (Institute Material Finishing) and National Committee Member of SEA (Surface Engineering Association), both in the UK.
