Petrolab Co.

The Petrotest BPA-4 Fatigue and Breaking Point Tester uses the latest power sensor technology to automatically detect the stress and breaking point of paints, rubbers, finishes, asphalts and other coatings with an operating range of +25 deg to -50 deg C. Small steel plaques are coated with sample then stressed in a user-defined manor so that stress curves can be monitored automatically. The level of stress is applied, test temperature or temperature gradients are programmed by the user. The sample's fracture is then detected by the BPA-4's electronic eye. Graphical measurement reports of temperature versus bending force are easily downloaded from the BPA-4 instrument via two analog outputs.
