BETHESDA, MD – RadTech, the Association for UV and EB Technology, has announced a special meeting on the development of photovoltaics using UV/EB technologies. The meeting is in conjunction with the upcoming uv.eb WEST conference in Los Angles, CA.

"Two of the key drivers in the photovoltaics (PV) market are the importance of achieving cost parity with existing power sources and the need to improve the efficiency of PVs," said Mike Idacavage of Cytec, President of RadTech. "UV technology is uniquely positioned to not only make a major impact on both of these goals but to do so in an environmentally responsible way.”

The UV/EB Photovoltaics breakfast meeting is open to all uv.eb WEST participants and is scheduled for 8:00 a.m., Feb. 18, at the Sheraton LAX. In addition, the event will present a special PV conference session later that morning, as well as a keynote presentation by Raymond Oliver, a leader on the future of flexible PV.
