WILMINGTON, MA - Koch Membrane Systems (KMS) has hired Hamid R. Rabie as Senior Vice President of Technology. In his new role, Rabie will report directly to KMS' President, David H. Koch, and will manage all research and development activities within the company. In addition, he will oversee the process design work in the United States and will continuously review the process design activities in Europe. As a fiber spinning expert, Rabie will also play a primary role in dealing with technology development involving fiber manufacturing at KMS plants in both Wilmington, MA, and Aachen, Germany.
  
Rabie has over 12 years experience in membrane water and wastewater treatment, both with industrial firms and as a consultant. He has a worldwide reputation and is considered a leading expert in the field of membrane bio-reactors and membrane filtration.
