WILLIAMSPORT, MD - A worker at a paint facility in Williamsport, MD, was critically injured in a fire at the plant in Wednesday morning, April 28. The man was injured in a flash fire that occurred in a Rust-Oleum plant in Williamsport, MD. He was airlifted to a burn center in Baltimore.
 
According to investigators, the fire occurred during a mixing process, and combustible materials were ignited by a flash fire. The damaged was contained to one room. No one else was injured in the accident. Fire officials said that estimated damage to the building was about $100,000.
 
Rust-Oleum is based in Vernon Hills, IL. The company is a subsidiary of RPM International Inc.
