ABB Robotics is continuing the “Robotics on the Move – Partnership in Productivity Tour,” a mobile tour that spans across North America and reaches manufacturing facilities, as well as schools and universities. Designed to connect with manufacturers and students, the tour encompasses both demonstrations and interactive activities, specifically focusing on robotics technology and trends. “Robotics On The Move” is intended to help manufacturers find ways to use robotics to their fullest potential to increase their competitiveness in the marketplace. Visitors will learn how other manufacturers have used robotics, how robotics are a key part of lean manufacturing, the improvements of safety with robotics implementations, and how robotics can be a cost-effective way to solve difficult manufacturing challenges.
The mobile exhibit houses an interactive theater and two live robot demonstrations, and is equipped with detailed robot product information. This educational display will engage visitors and clarify myths about robots. With two fully functioning robots onboard, this event will allow manufacturers to get up-close-and-personal with robots normally only found inside facilities.
