DES MOINES, IA — Industry experts have designed an interactive two-day program to meet the technical needs of electrocoaters and those interested in learning more about the industry. The event, 2019 ECOAT Boot Camp, takes place at the Embassy Suites Des Moines Downtown hotel on Oct. 8-9, 2019. Attendees will review the basics before taking a deeper dive into cost and process efficiencies, quality control, troubleshooting, and innovative technology. Attendees will walk away with ideas and strategies for improving their own system.

To enhance the learning experience, The Electrocoat Association is inviting attendees to a complimentary tour of John Deere Des Moines Works facility. This cathodic electrocoat system consists of a seven-stage alkaline cleaner with an iron phosphate conversion coating pretreatment system, a dry-off oven, a 56,000-gallon ecoat tank applying high-edge epoxy primer, a four-stage post rinse system, and a cure oven.

Additionally, there will be a “Meet the Speakers” networking reception held onsite on the first day of the event. This reception is a great opportunity to interact with industry leaders about your system and process or network with attendees over complimentary cocktails and snacks.
