COVENTRY, UK — The British Coatings Federation (BCF) announced that registration is now open for the 2020 BCF Annual Conference and Industry Dinner, taking place May 21, 2020, at Jurys Inn, Hinckley Island, UK. This year is a very special one for us as we are rolling out a new initiative, offering one free place to every BCF full member. The offer excludes accommodation. Organizers expect this will make the 2020 conference the biggest one to date and a great networking opportunity for members. The offer is valid until March 6 2020.
The program this year focuses on topics regarding mental health and wellbeing, politics and the UK economy, advancing technology, cyber threats, and sustainability. The event will feature two keynote speakers, including Julia Kendall, TV presenter, designer and writer whose “Happy Home” campaign promotes wellbeing through interior design. Jonny Benjamin MBE will speak publicly about his experiences with schizophrenia and bipolar conditions and spearheaded the #findmike campaign that went viral on social media. In addition to mental health, the conference will also feature talks on cyber security, diversity and inclusion, sustainability, economics, and politics. The conference will be followed by an evening industry dinner.
