WAYNE, NJ - International Specialty Products Inc. (ISP) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary ISP (Canada) Inc. has acquired the Industrial Biocides business of Creanova Inc., a subsidiary of Degussa Corp.
Included in the sale were key management, marketing, technical-service and manufacturing personnel and a manufacturing facility in Leaside, Ontario. The business's headquarters will be located in Piscataway, NJ.
ISP, based in Wayne, NJ, said the acquisition reflects a strategic emphasis on specialty chemicals for the coatings industry.
