RESTON, VA — The Inter-Society Color Council issued a call for papers for the International Colour Association’s 9th Quadrennial Congress, scheduled for June 24-29, 2001, in Rochester, NY. The event is held once every four years and addresses worldwide developments in color science, with sessions on color and appearance in science, art, design and industry.

Papers are invited on various topics, including what is color; what is color for; how does color work; control of color; and color education.
