Archway Sales Inc., St. Louis, announced a sales-territory expansion into the northeastern United States, and said Sam Taylor has joined the company as sales representative for the region. The expansion is the result of the recent appointment of Archway Sales as distributor for BASF's Urethane Chemical business. The expansion includes Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, New York and Pennsylvania.

Kerr-McGee Chemical L.L.C., Oklahoma City, announced the start-up of a new high-productivity oxidation line at the company's Savannah, GA, chloride process titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigment plant. Separately, the company said it will temporarily idle one of its sulfate production lines at the Savannah facility.

LANSCO Colors, Montvale, NJ, announced a relocation of the company's laboratory to Warwick RI, from Passaic, NJ. The company said its investment in the new laboratory is expected to upgrade technical capabilities. LANSCO said its sales office in East Greenwich, RI, would also be relocated to the Warwick, RI, site in February.
