SAN RAMON, CA — Dowd and Guild Inc., a specialty chemical distributor based in San Ramon, CA, has acquired K-Kem Corp., a specialty chemical distributor based in Southern California. The acquisition expands Dowd and Guild’s distribution activities in the coatings, ink and adhesives markets in the western United States, the company said.
