Dover Acquires OxyChem’s Chlorinated Paraffins Unit

Dover Chemical has acquired the chlorinated paraffin business of Occidental Chemical.
DOVER, OH — Dover Chemical Corp. has acquired the chlorinated paraffin business of Occidental Chemical Corp. (OxyChem). Dover said it plans to retain OxyChem’s Chlorowax products line, with manufacturing to be moved to Dover’s Ohio plant. Dover manufactures liquid chlorinated paraffins sold under the Paroil brand name.
