ARLINGTON, VA – The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) of the American Chemistry Council (ACC) has issued a market survey report detailing production and end-use application statistics, historical trends, and issues for polyurethane coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers (CASE) in the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) countries. Excerpted from the 2006 End-Use Market Survey on the Polyurethanes Industry in the United States, Canada and Mexico issued last year, the 2006 Polyurethane CASE Market Survey Report analyzes significant production and usage trends for polyurethane CASE materials in the construction, transportation, machinery, footwear, marine, tire, spandex and other industries.
“All four of the polyurethane CASE material sectors experienced growth from 2004-2006 as they continued to become important in a wide variety of industries,” said Neeva-Gayle Candelori, Director of CPI. The 2006 Polyurethane CASE Market Survey Report includes graphs and charts detailing production and end-use statistics for each CASE specialty by region, country and industry. The 271-page report also includes market reviews.

The Polyurethane CASE Survey Report, as well as separate surveys of rigid polyurethane foams and flexible polyurethane foams, is available for purchase at www.americanchemistry.com/polyurethane.
