PITTSBURGH, PA - The Pittsburgh Conference has released the topics for the Conferee Networking Sessions (CNS) offered at the 60th annual Pittcon Conference and Exposition, held March 8-13, 2009, at McCormick Place South, Chicago, IL. There are currently 33 Networking Sessions scheduled; 19 are new and based on conferee recommendation, and 14 are returning.

Conferee Networking Sessions are an ideal way for instrument users to discuss techniques, methods, common problems and limitations of instruments and techniques used in their work. These sessions, which average 18 participants per topic, are also a forum for users to discuss with instrument manufacturers ways to improve instruments used in their laboratories. This is important feedback for many manufacturers.

Conferee Networking Sessions at Pittcon have been growing for the past three years and now include informal discussions on a variety of subjects from biofuels, LIMS and regulatory compliance to lab safety and teaching.

Participation in the sessions is free to registered conferees and exhibitors. However, seating is limited. In addition to Pittcon registration, those who wish to attend the networking sessions and want to guarantee a space should also register in advance for the session(s) of their choice. Visit www.pittcon.org to get the complete listing and information on times, dates and locations.
