BETHESDA, MD - The Association for UV & EB Curing Technology, has announced its return to the West Coast on February 17-18, 2009, for uv.eb WEST 2009. This will be the third installment of this educational event, following the 2007 event, which educated current and potential users on the benefits and application of UV and EB curable technology.
 
The event will highlight how using UV and EB curing technology can contribute to economic and energy savings in the manufacturing process while contributing to reducing green house gases.
 
Attendees at the two-day event will see presentations on the use of UV and EB technology in the following markets: industrial applications wuch as metal and plastic, aerospace and defense, wood, packaging and printing, inkjet, and photovoltaics and electronics. The first day of the event will feature an overview on UV and EB technology followed by an advanced session featuring topics such as advancements in equipment, what end users should know about their UV/EB formulations, and cutting-edge uses of UV/EB. The second day will feature targeted sessions with presentations on applications in various markets. On both days the event will feature close to 100 of the UV and EB industry leaders in a tabletop exhibition that will take place during lunches and receptions.
