HORGEN, Switzerland -- Dow Coating Materials will implement a price increase in Europe, including central and eastern Europe and Russia, for all products sold to the architectural and industrial coatings markets. The increase, effective Feb. 1, 2010, or as contracts allow, will affect all acrylic and styrene-acrylic emulsions, vinyl-based emulsions, rheology modifiers, solvent-based solid and solution acrylic polymers, opaque polymers, and dispersants.

 

For all acrylic products, the prices will increase by five percent. For styrene acrylic and vinyl-based emulsions, prices will increase by eight percent. Prices for opaque polymers will incrase by 10 percent.
