HOUSTON – The Metropolitan New York Section of NACE International, The Corrosion Society, will hold its Winter 2010 Corrosion Symposium, Corrosion Issues in Utilities, on Nov. 16, 2010, at the Stevens Institute of Technology (SIT) School of Engineering and Science in Hoboken, NJ.

Topics featured in the program include: the monitoring of corrosion parameters within the annular space of cased natural-gas-transmission pipelines, corrosion issues in water utilities, coatings and paints used in the utilities, corrosion issues in nuclear power plants, and corrosion prevention and reduction requirements in the telecommunications industry.
