SANDEFJORD, Norway - Jotun Paints, a leading producer and supplier of paints and coatings, launched its newest yachting product, Megagloss HG, in the Middle East market. The product is a safe and trouble-free polyester-polyurethane topcoat. The new topcoat has been formulated to provide long-term resistance to UV light, erosion, impacts and chemicals. It is the result of almost four years of development by the Norwegian main corporate laboratory, in close co-operation with the worldwide Yacht Concept Centre in Barcelona, Spain.

Jotun revealed that the new product has been used by expert application company Rolling Stock to paint SY Canica, a luxury sailing yacht moored in Palma de Mallorca, Marina Port de Mallorca, Spain. By launching the newest addition to its yachting product range in the Middle East, the company aims to strengthen its presence in the marine paints segment by attracting the interest of yacht and super-yacht owners in the region.
