CUPPERTINO, CA - Hewlett-Packard Co. (HP) is hosting the ONAMI Safer Nanomaterials and Nanomanufacturing Initiative’s (SNNI) sixth annual Greener Nano Conference (GN11), Advancing Applications and Reducing Risk. The event will take place May 1-3, 2011, at HP’s Cuppertino, CA, site.

GN11 will explore challenges and opportunities facing nanotechnology in the next decade. The event will address reproducibility in nanomaterials syntheses and discuss methods in understanding nanomaterial properties and the impacts of nanomaterials in biological systems.

A pre-conference workshop, Greener Nano 101, will take place Sunday, May 1, followed by an opening dinner reception. This workshop is geared toward those new to the field and will focus on what policy makers and regulators need to know about nanotechnology.
