Chemical Coaters Association Intl. (CCAI) offers the third edition of its popular training manual, Paint Pretreatment, a 91-page softbound manual that compiles efforts by CCAI's corporate pretreatment members. This edition includes revisions to the cleaning section, including several new pages on the subject of mechanical cleaning. Significant additions were made on testing and waste disposal issues. Additionally, the new section on salt spray testing includes detailed information on how to properly use salt spray testing and what the results really mean. The section on waste disposal was completely rewritten to include more information on reporting and management of pretreatment waste streams and current technology. In addition, the entire content of the manual was reviewed and updated to reflect current technique and products.
