Nuplex Resins has appointed Kelly Smith to business development manager, Waterborne Technologies and New Markets - The Americas. Smith joined Nuplex Resins in 1994 and has held various technical and commercial roles within the Resins business. Prior to his move to the U.S., Kelly was general manager of the Nuplex Resins Foshan, China operation.

In his new role, Smith is responsible for developing new initiatives and partnerships within the scope of waterborne polymer technologies that find application in coatings, adhesives, sealants, inks, construction, and textile markets. He is based in Louisville, KY.
