Chuck Anderson has been named the codes and industry affairs manager for the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA). He will serve as a technical liaison between AAMA and affiliated industry organizations, including standards-setting associations, building products coalitions and government agencies, as well as state, local and international code groups.

Anderson has 22 years of engineering-related experience, eight of which involve fenestration, and he is registered as a professional engineer in the state of North Carolina. He previously Anderson served on the board of directors for the Northeast Window and Door Association (NWDA), the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) and AAMA Southeast Region. He continues to serve on the Code Development Committee of the International Code Council's (ICC) International Energy Conservation Code (IECC).

As AAMA's codes and industry affairs manager, Anderson fills the position vacated by Ken Brenden, who assumes the role of technical standards manager and now oversees the development and distribution of all AAMA technical documents and standards.
