Precision Color touch-up coatings from The Raabe Co., LLC, can now be ordered in a lacquer for plastic surfaces. The new platform combines the properties of drying very quickly, toughness, and exterior durability. It adheres well to thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO), polypropylene (PP), sheet molding compound (SMC), and fiberglass-filled nylon. The lacquer also adheres to traditional substrates such as metal, wood and coated finishes. As with other touch-up platforms from the company, the new product is available in a very wide range of custom-matched gloss and color combinations, including very low gloss, which is often needed for interior automotive environments.
