WOODBURN, OR — Specialty Polymers Inc. has hired John Schierlmann to be the company’s new East Coast Applications Manager. Schierlmann will manage all applications activities at the company’s Chester, SC, plant. His responsibilities include customer technical support, new product testing and identification of new markets for the company’s products.

The company has also hired Mike Beland to be its new Midwest Sales Manager. Beland will be responsible for overseeing sales in the Midwest.
