MADBURY, NH - Emulsion Polymers Consulting and Education LLC has released the dates for workshops it is offering in 2015.

“Scale-Up and Commercial Production of Emulsion Polymers” is being offered March 2-5, 2015, in Austin, TX. The workshop provides industrial engineers and scientists with an intensive, interactive workshop on the production of synthetic latices in pilot and commercial-scale reactors.

“Hybrid Latex Systems – PU, Alkyd and Inorganic/Acrylic Latices” will take place April 20-22, 2015 in Atlanta. This workshop provides industrial scientists and engineers with information on the synthesis, characterization and use of several types of hybrid acrylic latices.

“Core-Shell Latex Particles – Fundamental Aspects of Morphology Control” will take place June 2-5, 2015, in Boston. The workshop deals with the basic factors controlling particle morphology in synthetic latices used for coatings, adhesives, impact modifiers and biomedical applications.

“Rheology Fundamentals & Applications for Synthetic Latices and Associated Coatings Formulations” is being offered October 19-21, 2015, in Portland, OR. The workshop provides scientists and engineers with information on the rheological characteristics of synthetic latices and formulated water-based coatings of latex particles.

“Characterization of Synthetic Latex Particles” will take place November 16-18, 2015, in Savannah, GA. This workshop is designed for both analytical chemists who provide characterization data and the engineers and chemists who make the latex. The focus is on measuring the chemical, physical, colloidal and morphological properties of the latex.
