Specialty chemicals provider Orion Engineered Carbons announced that it will complete its gas black expansion in Germany at plants in Dortmund and Cologne by early 2023.
Featuring 34 of Orion’s most popular carbon blacks for coatings, the “Carbon Black Guide” gives paint formulators a visual sense of the shades they can achieve with different grades.
If these specifications are followed, replicable measurements of deep-black coatings are possible and information about the blackness/jetness MY and undertone dM can be obtained.
Orion Engineered Carbons announced it aspires to align its sustainability objectives with the Paris Climate Agreement and strive to achieve net-zero emissions of greenhouse gases by 2050.
Orion Engineered Carbons recently started commercial sales in Italy from a new 25-kiloton line at its facility in Ravenna, in the northern region of Emilia-Romagna.
Orion Engineered Carbons S.A. has promoted Jennifer S. Stroh, Ph.D., to Director of Sales and Marketing – Specialties Americas at Orion Engineered Carbons.
